Video: Teenage Girl Saved From Drowning By Boaters
"To me, it's a God thing. We were meant to be there," the boater's wife said.
MICHIGAN — A teenage girl was rescued from dangerously high waves that swept her off a pier in Lake Michigan, according to reports. The rescue was caught on video.
It happened in Grand Haven Saturday in Western Michigan. The boater told media outlets he maneuvered the boat toward the girl and grabbed her. No one was injured.
“To me, it’s a God thing. We were meant to be there,”the boater's wife said.

According to the Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project, at least 27 people have drowned in the lake this year, up 80% from 15 at the same point last year.
