• Three Arrested in Federal Drug Bust In Bay City (wsgw.com) — Federal agents carried out a pre-dawn raid at a Michigan Avenue home in Bay City, seizing suspected narcotics, firearms, and materials tied to drug distribution. Three residents were arrested, and the Bay County Prosecutor will review possible charges. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Bay City Public Safety, Bay County Central Dispatch, or Crime Stoppers.
   

• Bay City Academy students deliver 125 care packages to McLaren nurses in annual holiday tradition (mlive.com) — Bay City Academy middle schoolers just delivered 125 handmade care packages to nurses at McLaren Bay Region Hospital, continuing a heartfelt holiday tradition that began after their superintendent’s serious COVID-19 illness. Funded through student-run treat sales, the gifts and personal notes have become something local nurses eagerly anticipate each year, strengthening ties between the school and hospital community.
