Amici's Episode of 'Pizza Cuz' to Re-Air Saturday on Cooking Channel

The Cooking Channel will re-air a recent episode of “Pizza Cuz” featuring Amici’s Pizza & Living Room in Berkley at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The “Girl Power” episode, focused on women-owned businesses, highlights Amici’s, as well as female-operated pizza joints in Pennsylvania and Oregon. Cousins Francis Garcia and Sal Basile, who own Artichoke Basille's Pizza in New York, explore pizzerias nationwide on “Pizza Cuz.” 

Amici's co-owners Jennifer Stark and Maureen McNamara invited many of their regular customers, including Berkley Mayor Phil O’Dwyer, Berkley Public Safety Deputy Director Bob North, Huntington Woods Parks & Recreation Recreation Supervisor Colette Nutton and Huntington Woods Recreation Program Coordinator/Aquatic Director Mary Gustafson to participate in the filming.

“Berkley’s got a really great community to do business in," Stark said. "We’ve been treated so well.”
