Should the Michigan regulation be extended to everyone, regardless of age? What should the fine for violating the rule be? Leave a comment to share your thoughts!

A recent story about a new state law that bans teens from using a cell phone while driving stirred up a lot of discussion on the Huntington Woods-Berkley Facebook page and we want to hear what you think about the conversation!
"New Michigan Law Prohibits Teens From Using a Cell Phone While Driving" got 32 Facebook recommends, 17 "Likes" and 10 comments, including the following.
- Colette MacDonald Nutton: good idea, but really should be everyone, not just teens - at least it will be good training to get used to NOT using the phone while driving.
- Carrie Burgan: Most of the morons who run me out of a lane looking down at their crotch are adults. Needs more scope (everyone) and needs to be enforced.
What do you think of the new law? Should it be extended to everyone, regardless of age? Because violation of the law is a civil infraction, it is up to local municipalities to determine the fine. What do you think it should be?
