Get Up on Your Feet for Summer's First Concert in the Park

Big Will & The 360 Degrees Band will launch the free Huntington Woods summer concert series Tuesday at .

Get there by 7 p.m. to stake out a spot for your blanket or lawn chair before the music gets under way at quarter after the hour. Children will be able to participate in art activities starting at 7:15 p.m. for a cost of $1.

The Huntington Woods Children’s Co-Op will sell refreshments, and the Men’s Club will have fireworks raffle tickets available for purchase. Snap up a Fourth of July shirt at $18 for adults or $15 for children, while supplies last.

Big Will & The 360 Degrees Band is a high-energy group that has played gigs throughout Metro Detroit.

"We're really excited to play the Concert in the Park," keyboardist/vocalist Diana McNary said. "We perform at a lot of clubs and casinos throughout the year, and we love that, but playing outdoor, family-friendly shows in the summer is such a blast. We get a kick out of the little kids who come up and dance, and we hope we can get their parents on their feet, too."
