Well-Loved Stuffed Animal Found at Berkley Days

"I just know how difficult my life was when my kids lost/left their security items somewhere and want to get it back to its rightful owner," festival chairwoman Denise Brainard says.

Berkley Days Chairwoman Denise Brainard hopes to reunite a well-loved stuffed animal that was found during the festival with its owner.

"I am trying to find the little kid (presumably a girl) who lost a very well worn pink doglike stuffed animal (it's not a carnival toy, it's someone's security animal judging by it's well loved condition)," Brainard wrote in an e-mail to Huntington Woods-Berkley Patch. "I just know how difficult my life was when my kids lost/left their security items somewhere and want to get it back to its rightful owner."

She said the stuffed animal's owner can contact her via the Berkley Days Facebook page to claim it.
