• Final dress rehearsal doubles as benefit for local food bank (candgnews.com) — Birmingham Village Players is turning its final dress rehearsal of “Once Upon a Mattress” on January 7 into a $25 benefit for the Franciscan Outreach Program’s food bank. Local theatergoers can enjoy a full musical performance, light themed refreshments, and directly support efforts that feed hundreds of metro Detroit families each month.
