Bloomfield Hills Schools Closed, All Evening Activities Canceled
With up to eleven inches of snow expected, Bloomfield Hills Schools announced Friday's closing Thursday evening.

With a winter storm on the way and meteorologists predicting snowfall of 9 to 11 inches across the area, nearly every school in Metro Detroit and still more in Washtenaw and Macomb counties announced Thursday that Friday classes would be canceled. By midnight, Click on Detroit’s school closings page listed over 700 area schools that had announced weather-related closures for Friday. With so much snow predicted for the morning, Bloomfield Hills Schools joined this large group of schools and announced the cancellation of its Friday classes.
According to the schools' webpage, "Due to impending weather conditions, Bloomfield Hills Schools will be closed tomorrow, February 9, 2018. In addition, due to the pattern of this particular storm, we will be unable to offer our Snow Day Insurance program. Finally, all after school and evening events in our buildings are canceled."
