Break-in at The Mex Construction Site in Bloomfield Township
The Bloomfield Township Police Department provided the following information. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.

Detectives with the Bloomfield Township Police Department are investigating a break-in at the construction site of a new restaurant.
The owner of The Mex Restaurant called police to report that someone broke into the building at 6675 Telegraph Rd. either late on July 11 or early July 12 and damaged equipment and destroyed some property inside, police reports said. The extent of the damage, and estimates for repairs or replacement were not immediately available.
No suspect information was available and further details were not released by police.
It was unclear if the incident would delay construction of the new business, which has been under construction at the former Big Boy restaurant location several months ago. Officials with Riverstone Hospitality LLC, the restaurant's ownership group did not return messages Monday.

It is not the first time police responded to an incident at the location. In March, a contractor told police that his 2012 Bobcat 850 skid-steer was missing from the parking lot on the property. The incident also remains under investigation.
