Cabinets, Oven Stolen From Home Under Construction in Bloomfield Township
The Bloomfield Township Police Department is also investigating an auto theft from a gas station.

Detectives with the Bloomfield Township Police Department are investigating the theft of items from a home under construction in the 7000 Block of Lahser Road last week, according to reports.
Officers responded to the location on Jan. 21 and spoke with the general contractor who said that sometime overnight someone stole a number of kitchen cabinets and a new oven. The total value of the items was estimated at $5,0000.
The method and point of entry to the construction site was not available in the report. No suspect information was available and the case was turned over to detectives for further review.

Stolen Vehicle
Detectives are also trying to determine who stole a vehicle while it parked outside the Mobil Gas Station located at 1501 Opdyke Rd. on Jan. 21. Officers responded to the station for a report of a stolen vehicle and spoke with the victim, who said that he pulled into the gas station to purchase some items at about 5:30 a.m.
The victim said he turned off the car to go inside, but left the keys in the ignition, reports said. When the victim exited the store he discovered his 2000 Chrysler 300 was missing. Detectives are attempting to review video surveillance to identify a suspect.
