Oakland County Police Investigating Stranger Danger Incident

Police said two men inside a pickup truck motioned​ to two young children who were riding scooters in an Oakland County neighborhood.

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Police in Oakland County are investigating a stranger danger incident.

The incident happened at 1:45 p.m. Monday when officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in Bloomfield Township, according to police.

A resident told officers two men inside a pickup truck motioned to two young children who were riding scooters in a neighborhood off Maple Road and west of Chesterfield Avenue, according to police.

The men inside the pickup truck followed the children to their Birmingham home, according to police.

Police described the pickup truck as a dark, older model with an extended cab. Police did not describe the men.
