• Ex-NHL player set to stand trial in Metro Detroit for sexual assault of teen (themorningsun.com) — A Bloomfield Hills District Court judge has ruled there’s enough evidence for former NHL player Ryan Kesler to stand trial on two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, stemming from an incident reported in January. The case, investigated by Orchard Lake police and prosecuted in Oakland County, involves allegations related to one of his child’s friends and carries potential prison time if convicted.
