Pothole Has Totally Blocked Road, Residents Say
A massive pothole in Bloomfield Hills has obstructed traffic on Devonbrook Drive near Telegraph and Long Lake.
A massive pothole on Devonbrook Dr near Long Lake and Telegraph roads had nearly collapsed the street Monday, caving in the pavement between curbs. According to Channel 7/WXYZ, the pothole erupted in 2016 and has grown worse and worse, ignored by the road commission, residents say.
The Oakland County Road Commission says they will address the pothole, but need approval from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) before they proceed because the road is close to a protected waterway.
