Bloomfield Hills Administrator Named Michigan Superintendent of the Year
Surprise 'Superintendent of the Year' award presented to Glass Monday night.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI — Michigan's Superintendent of the Year was revealed on a snow day. Bloomfield Hills Schools Supt. Dr. Rob Glass received the award Monday in a surprise ceremony at Bloomfield Hills High School, The Birmingham Eccentric reported.
The award is presented by the Michigan Association School Administrators to a member “who has shown tremendous effort and dedication to enriching the lives of children and the community as a whole.” Glass will now be considered for the National Superintendent of the Year award, which will be announced in March.
“You have a gem here,” said Wanda Cook-Robinson, Oakland Schools (ISD) Superintendent. “Whenever there’s a tough issue, Rob knows he’s going to get a phone call. I call Rob because I know his vision is always centered on what’s best for the students and the classroom.”
