Stolen Vehicle and More Illegal Dumping in Bloomfield

The Bloomfield Township Police Department provided the following information. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.

Officers with the Bloomfield Township Police Department are investigating a stolen vehicle complaint from a resident in the 400 Block of S. Fox Hills, reports said.

The victim told police that she last saw her 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser parked in the lot at 6:20 pm on July 6th. The vehicle was gone the following morning the vehicle was gone, reports said. No witnesses or suspect information was available.

Illegal Dumping
A resident in the 1000 Block of Charrington Road reported that someone dumped 6-8 yards of wood chips in his driveway on July 8, reports said. The resident said he did not hear any trucks, but discovered the pile in his driveway as he tried to pull out of the garage during the early afternoon hours. The resident reported a dump truck driving down the road at the time and investigators are trying to determine if that truck was involved.

This is the second illegal dumping incident reported to police this month. Authorities are also investigating the illegal dumping of building debris in a dumpster parked in the 2000 block of Klingensmith.
