Suspect Arrested in Bloomfield Township Auto Break-ins

Officers arrested one man and seek another suspected of breaking into several vehicles at the Concord Place Condos.

A Detroit man remains in custody at the Oakland County Jail Monday for allegedly stealing items from parked cars at the Concord Place Condominiums in Bloomfield Township.

Juwan Burch, 19, faces one cout of breaking and entering a vehicle and larceny from a motor vehicle stemming from his arrest on Aug. 15, police reports said. 

Officers with the Bloomfield Township Police Department tried to stop Burch and another man riding bicycles in the are of Square Lake and Opdyke roads at about 4:15 a.m., but only Burch stopped. The officers questioned and searched him and found several items that were stolen from vehicles parked overnight at the condo complex, including a laptop and binoculars, reports said. 

A K-9 search of the area helped police find the bike the other suspect used, but the man remains at large. Burch is not cooperating with investigators, officials said. 

Burch remains in custody on a $200,000 bond.
