Wildlife photographer will speak about Africa's Serengeti at Baldwin Public Library Sunday.

Wondering what to do with yourself this weekend? Don't dismay: check out today's Weekend Spotlight:
Today's Pick: The Serengeti: The Greatest Natural Show on Earth
- When: 2 p.m. Sunday
- Where: Baldwin Public Library
- Cost: Free
- Why Go: William Cowger, the famed wildlife photographer, presents a lecture on the Serengeti, one of the greatest success stories in conservation. There are more than one million more large mammels in the Serengeti ecosystem than there were in 1960. Yet this success is endangered by development, Cowger argues, and the risks to this world treasure are great.
Editor's Note: In November, Bloomfield Hills residents narrowly passed a a 0.39-mill levy to fund a three-year contract with the Baldwin Public Library, giving them a library to call their own after several years and two previous millage attempts.
