4 Hurt In Crash Involving Drunken Driver On US-23 In Detroit Area: MSP
The drunken driver was arrested in connection with the crash and charged with operating while intoxicated causing injury, police said.

PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Four people were injured in a Sunday crash caused by a drunken driver on US-23 in Washtenaw County, according to Michigan State Police.
Troopers said a 43-year-old Willis man was driving a 2004 Chevy Silverado pickup southbound on US-23 near Michigan Avenue in Pittsfield Township Sunday evening.
The Silverado was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic at 7:15 p.m. when it slammed into the back of a Cadillac SUV that was carrying three passengers, according to police.

The SUV then went off the road, hit the cable barrier and flipped on the northbound lanes, according to police.
Four people, including a 64-year-old man, who was driving, and three passengers ages 91, 15 and 8, all from Temperance, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and were taken to University of Michigan Hospital.

The driver of the Silverado was arrested in connection with the crash and charged with operating while intoxicated causing injury, according to police.
He was placed in the Washtenaw County Jail, according to police.
No further information was released by police.
Police were still investigating the crash and asked anyone with information to call Trooper Douglas Ryan at 517-899-6174.
