1. Boogie-Woogie Piano Sensation 

• When: Friday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m.
• Where: Howell Opera House
• What: Attorney turned Boogie, Blues, & Ragtime musician, Matthew Ball aka The Boogie Woogie Kid will heat up the piano keys this Friday night.

• When: Sat. Jan. 4 at 5:30 p.m.
• Where: Community Congregational Church, 125 E. Unadilla, Pinckney, MI
• What: The Royal Garden Trio is made up of: Mike Karoub (cello and string bass), Tom Bogardus (tenor guitar and clarinet), Brian Delaney (acoustic and electric 6-string guitars).

• When: Sunday, Jan. 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• Where: Brighton Library
• What: Join the Brighton District Library for the third Local Author Showcase. Hear the authors discuss their newest works in the Reading Room, then visit with them at tables placed throughout the library.
