
A 60-year-old man is being treated in the intensive care unit at St. Joseph Hospital after family members and first responders performed "life-saving" CPR, according to a press release from the Michigan State Police- Brighton Post.
On June 9, police say Trooper Joseph Pendergraff arrived around 6 p.m. and after using the Automatic Electronic Defibrillator, a pulse was detected, however, the man was still not breathing.
Livingston County EMS arrived shortly after, according to the report, and the first responders continued to provide more advanced first aid, which resulted in the man starting to breath again.

The man was transported to Ann Arbor by the Livingston County EMS.
