New Michael's Location Brings Updated Store Design to Brighton

Introducing a new store concept and design, Michael’s of Brighton is busy moving in to their new location at 8389 W Grand River Ave and is expected to open July 5.

The updated customer-friendly design comes from focus groups and customer feedback, according to Brighton store manager Kim Wilson. 

“It's all updated and I just think the customers are going to love it," Wilson said. "I’m really excited to bring it to Brighton." 

The new location will be smaller, according to Wilson, so customers won't feel "overwhelmed" or lost and will include bright color-coded shelves and signage throughout the store. 

The new location will also feature a new and improved classroom setting for the classes.

The craft and supply store, currently located at 8151 Movie Dr., will be closing it’s current location and moving in to their newly renovated store across the street on the same day.

Grand opening specials at the new store will begin July 21.
