1. Lugnuts Game with Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Brighton 

A few tickets are STILL AVAILABLE for the Lansing Lugnuts vs the West Michigan Whitecaps. Join us over at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Brighton. Tickets are  $11/pp for game and $10/pp additional to ride the bus! Come join us this Friday for a great night out at the ballpark. 

2. Iron Chef Competition

The Iron Chef Competition returns to Bordine's 'Kitchen Stadium' on Thursday, August 8th to benefit Gleaner's Community Food Bank. Two chefs will once again battle it out for the title of Iron Chef 2013. 

3. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Howell Informational Kickoff

The American Cancer Society will be hosting an informational Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Howell Kickoff event on Wednesday, August 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Howell Opera House.

4. Teen Drawing Workshop at The Commons

On Monday at 1 p.m. come to The Commons for a five-day drawing workshop with artist, Kimberly Holback.  Students learn various styles and techniques for drawing. Cool projects and fun lessons are designed to adapt to each students ability and inspire individual talents.

5. Teen Writers' Workshop

Poets, Songwriters, Storytellers, and Dreamers, bring your original work and thoughts about writing. Meet with Mike Ball, award-winning humorist. Ages 11-18. Drop-ins welcome. Call 810-229-6571 x227 for more information.
