Woman Hit, Killed On US 23 Near M-59 After Jumping From Bridge: Police
Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the incident, according to police.

BRIGHTON, MI — A Brighton woman died early Wednesday morning after she was struck by a semi truck on US 23 near M-59 in Livingston County, according to Michigan State Police.
The 44-year-old woman jumped from the Spencer Road bridge onto southbound U.S. 23 at 5 a.m. Wednesday when she was struck by a semi truck, according to police.
Investigators determined she died by suicide.

The driver of the semi truck was not injured in the crash, according to police.
