Car Smashes Into Chelsea Deli, 6 Hurt: FDNY
None of the injuries were believed to be life threatening.
CHELSEA, NY — At least six people were injured in a Chelsea car crash on Thursday night, fire officials said.
Six people were transported to the hospital with moderate injuries after a car crashed into a deli storefront at 21st Street and Eighth Avenue in Chelsea, authorities said. Police did not immediately have details about how the collision happened but at least two cars — a regular vehicle and a taxi cab — were involved in the crash.
The front windows of a deli on the southwest corner of 21st and Eighth Avenue were completely shattered after the collision.
