Chelsea Community Kitchen Elects Board Members, Seeks Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to help grow the cooking classes and other programs at the Chelsea Community Kitchen in 2013.

The Chelsea Community Kitchen recently elected new board officers for 2013.

Officers include: Jane Pacheco (president); Bernadette Malinoski (treasurer); and Kathy Carter (secretary). Each member will serve a two-year term and will replace outgoing officers Bernadette Malinoski, Judy Radant, and Debi Weiker.

The nonprofit food-based educational business is also seeking volunteers to help coordinate programs in 2013.

"Some of you have used our kitchen rental services or received information about starting or expanding your business. Others have purchased the products of business who have benefited from our services. Volunteers make all these things happen."

Some of the volunteer opportunities include monthly programs, communication, and development committees.
