Chelsea Leaf Collection Underway

Residents can rake leaves to the curb for collection by the Department of Public Works.

The Chelsea Department of Public Works has begun collecting leaves as part of the city's annual fall pick-up program that runs through December.

Residents are being asked to rake leaves onto the lawn extension (the grass area between the sidewalk and the street curb). Do not rake leaves into the street. Brush should be piled separate from the leaves.

This year, the city will have a flexible schedule for the collections to increase efficiency and account for weather-related issues.
