Chelsea School District Closed for Snow Day

Chelsea Schools are closed on Feb. 27 due to inclement weather.

An overnight mix of snow and rain resulted in the fourth "snow day" of the year in Dexter.

The Chelsea School District announced the school closing, due to weather and poor road conditions.

All Community Education programs are canceled for the day and evening. All athletic practices are also canceled.

More than 130 school districts in southeast Michigan were closed Wednesday, according to various news reports.

Today's forecast calls for more snow, according to the National Weather Service.
