Featuring the artists behind the Chelsea District Library newsletter covers, the show pairs original works with the cover art and includes an opening reception on January 15 from 6:30–8 p.m.

Officials approved routine bills, updated key clerk and treasurer staffing, renewed assessing services, and confirmed appointments to the Chelsea Area Library Board and Western Washtenaw Recycling Authority for 2026.
   

3. Shoplifter stole meat from Chelsea store by stuffing it into his pants, police say (mlive.com) — Chelsea police are investigating after a man reportedly hid several packages of meat in his pants and left Polly’s Country Market without paying. The incident happened Sunday evening, and officers are still working to identify the suspect and vehicle involved.
   

4. Lawrence Lees 'Larry' Wolcott (thesuntimesnews.com) — Family and friends are mourning Lawrence “Larry” Wolcott, an 89-year-old retired science teacher and University of Michigan graduate remembered for his craftsmanship, curiosity, and devotion to loved ones. A spring celebration of life will be arranged through Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home in Chelsea with details to be announced.
