Chelsea Senior Center Receives $14,000 Grant

A grant from the Helen McCalla Trust Fund will pay for the installation of automatic handicapped accessible doors inside the center.

The Chelsea Senior Center was recently awarded a $14,000 grant from the Helen McCalla Trust Fund.

According to Chelsea Update, the grant will be used to install automatic handicapped accessible doors inside the center.

The center boasts a membership of 700, and provides dozens of weekly programs that support the needs of older adults.
