Firefighters Break Crash Victim Out of T-Boned Vehicle

Firefighters spend 13 minutes freeing one survivor at the scene of a t-bone crash near Chelsea.

CHELSEA, MI - A T-bone crash on M-52 near Chelsea sent two people to the hospital. The March 8 accident happened at 8:46 p.m.. Firefighters reported to the scene to manage the crash involving two cars on the highway south of I-94, and spent 13 minutes freeing a trapped, injured occupant from one vehicle, according to the Chelsea Fire department.

At the scene, one person was pinned inside a vehicle, and it took 13 minutes for firefighters to break them free. One of the accident victims was listed in critical condition, while a second was in stable condition when sent to the University of Michigan Hospital.
