A new online video series is giving local residents a look "beyond the badge" at what goes on within the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.

Beyond the Badge is an online web-video series focused on the men and women who dedicate their lives to working for the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office. The aim of the show is to take the viewer beyond the badge and share the stories of strength and hope that take place every day in and around Michigan’s Washtenaw County. The office believes that "an educated and engaged community is our best partner," an announcement from the office states. "This is just one more way that the Sheriff's Office shares information with each of our residents.
