• City of Chelsea (Michigan) City Council: Support AATA Chelsea-Ann Arbor Express Route
  

The City of Chelsea has been approached about contributing $15,000 to next year's AATA budget. This would go to wards helping fund the Chelsea-Ann Arbor Express Route. The City Council has received this request from AATA just recently - so, the $15,000 is not included in the Chelsea budget at this point in time. • Public hearing to take place on May 14

A public hearing to receive public comment on a proposed amendment to the rate schedules for water, wastewater and electric utilities within the City of Chelsea will be held Tuesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at the Chelsea Municipal Building.

• Bushel Basket Market
  

The Bushel Basket Market has been open since 2007 and serves the Chelsea Community Hospital service area. The market is open vvery Wednesday afternoon
2:30 pm to 6 p.m.

• Memorial Day parade prepartions

Members of the Venture Crew 357 were out in Lima Township performing a spring cleaning of the Lima Center Cemetery, according to the Chelsea Update. (Read full story here.)

• Road work in Chelsea

Next week, there will be overnight single lane closures on I-94 just east of Fletcher Road (Exit 162) for pavement repairs. The closure will be in place each night between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. starting Monday, May 13, through Thursday, May 16.
