Reed-Works Saxophone Quartet to Play Free Concert at Silver Maples in Chelsea
The event is part of the Kaleidoscope concert series on Nov. 20.

The Reed-Works Saxophone Quartet will perform at the Silver Maples of Chelsea on Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. as part of the Kaleidoscope concert series.
The quartet’s repertoire includes a full range of musical styles including jazz, classical, and some off-beat treasures, like “The Flight of the Bumble Bee,” said Shawn Personke, director of activities and public relations for Silver Maples.
“The K-concert series has always brought in top name talent for the concerts,” she said. “Most of the groups are juried by the Michigan Humanities Council, and the Reed-Works Saxophone Quartet is no exception. Between them, they play eight different instruments and they play so many different kinds of music. I think it’s going to be a great show.”
