Ring in the New Year with Jeff Daniels

The Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea is hosting a New Year's Eve party with a performance of "Jeff Daniels: Onstage & Unplugged."

On Dec. 31, The Purple Rose Theatre Company will host a New Year’s Eve party as a fundraiser for the non-profit theatre.

The event will begin at the Chelsea Village Conference Center and will include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from around the world, close-up magic with Stuart MacDonald, a sneak-preview performance of The Meaning of Almost Everything -- a world premiere comedy by Jeff Daniels, followed by dinner and transportation to the Purple Rose.

At 8 p.m., guests will enjoy the final performance of "Jeff Daniels: Onstage & Unplugged," with special guests Brad Phillips, Jed Fritzemeier, The Ben Daniels Band and Luc “The Roadie” Daniels. The evening will conclude with a celebratory champagne toast at 10:30 p.m., and transportation back to the Village Conference Center.

Tickets for the event are $250, a portion of which is tax-deductible. New Year’s Eve tickets may be reserved by contacting the Purple Rose Development Department at 734-433-7782, Ext. 15, or by emailing ReachUs@PurpleRoseTheatre.org.
