Transition Town Chelsea to Host Potluck on Jan. 28

Transition Town Chelsea will welcome University of Michigan Professor Thomas Princen, who will give a talk on Jan. 28, following a potluck that begins at 6:30 p.m.

Princen will speak on his recent work on "exiting the Fossil Fuel Era,” following the group’s January potluck, according to event information. Princen is the author of the award-winning books “Confronting Consumption” and “The Logic of Sufficiency” and is currently working on a new volume, “Leave It in the Ground.”

The potluck portion of the event begins at 6:30 p.m., and Princen will begin his talk at 7:15 p.m.

Those who plan to attend the potluck are asked to bring a dish to pass. Entrees are needed for the event.
