Vandals Spray Paint Car, Slash Tires in Chelsea

A car parked near the 300 block of Madison Street in the city of Chelsea was vandalized during the weekend.
According to police reports, while on routine patrol, officers with the Chelsea Police Department responded to a malicious destruction of property complaint. The vehicle owner stated that an unknown person had punctured all four of the vehicles tires as well as spray painted multiple sections of the vehicle.
The case is closed pending further leads.

Larceny from a vehicle
A Chelsea resident's driver's license was removed from the wallet inside an unlocked vehicle parked near the 200 block of West Middle Street on Jan. 4.

According to police reports, the owner informed police that he left his wallet in his unlocked pickup truck on Jan. 3 and when he returned to his vehicle, he noticed that his wallet was out in the open and his driver’s license was
missing.
The case is closed pending further investigational leads.
