Washtenaw County Democrats Plan Inaugural Party for President Obama
Supporters of President Obama can watch the inauguration and toast the president during a reception at the Chelsea District Library on Jan. 21.

The Washtenaw County Democratic Party will host a celebration of President Obama's inauguration on Jan. 21 in the McKune Room at the Chelsea District Library.
The inaugural oath, speech and festivities will be projected, via YouTube, on a large screen beginning at 7 p.m. Area Democrats are invited to come celebrate the 2012 general election results.
Participants should bring a tray of hors d'oeuvers to share, and a bottle of white alcohol-free champagne to toast Obama. Plastic glasses, napkins and plates will be provided.
