5 Things to Do in and Around Clawson This Weekend

1. Clawson Youth Assistance will sponsor an inflatable bounce house and inflatable slide at the Clawson Farmers Market, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Clawson City Park (Elmwood and Custer). Bring socks!

 Troy's sixth-annual classic car show, Troy Traffic Jam: Chrome, Muscle and Music, will roar into the Columbia Center (201 West Big Beaver Road) on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds from this event, featuring classic cars, class songs, and delicious food, will benefit the Troy Historical Society. For more information, including cost and registration details, visit: Troy Traffic Jam: Classic Car Show.

3. The fourth-annual Bethany Christian Services 5k run/walk is scheduled on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The event at Boulan Park is a fundraiser to improve Bethany’s ability to help Michigan’s 3,000 orphaned children find families and address many social concerns. For more information, visit: bethany.org.

Family Fun Friday takes over at Clawson City Park on Friday at 5:30 p.m. There will be hot dogs available for $1, chips, beverages and much more to eat in addition to inflatables, face-painting, games, and a softball game of city employees and the high school players.
