• Alec Speshock appointed seventh member of Clawson City Council (candgnews.com) — Clawson’s City Council has unanimously appointed resident and civic volunteer Alec Speshock to fill the vacant seat formerly held by now-Mayor Susan Moffitt, with his term running through November 2027. After interviews with multiple local candidates, council members chose Speshock, who is active with the Downtown Development Authority and Clawson Chamber of Commerce, to start serving at the Dec. 16 council meeting.
