Photos: Clawson Kids Show off Their Independence at Pre-July 4 Events

Saturday's pre-Fourth of July events included a kiddie parade, kids garage sale, big wheel races and more.

A sea of red, white and blue made its way from to City Park on Saturday, kicking off a for Clawson.

Kids were donned in patriotic attire, riding in festive bikes, wagons and electric cars in the Kiddie Parade — an annual tradition for the city.

At the park, there was plenty of fun awaiting the paraders, including a kids garage sale with toys and clothing; penny hunts and candy scramble games, plus a big wheel race sponsored by Tri-City Ace Hardware. The also sold food under the pavilion for Coney Days.
