1 Dead In Clinton Township House Fire: Officials
Clinton Township officials were still investigating the cause of the fire.
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — One person was killed in a Clinton Township house fire Monday night, fire officials said.
The fire started at roughly 11:30 p.m. inside a home in the 21000 block of Vermander Ave., officials said.
One person who was inside the home was killed in the fire, officials said. Officials did not identify the victim.

While battling the blaze, a firefighter got trapped inside the burning home, but was able to get out and was not injured, officials said.
Officials were still investigating the cause of the fire.
