Chippewa Valley Boys Fall to L'Anse Creuse North in Basketball Regionals
The L'Anse Creuse North varsity boys basketball team defeated Chippewa Valley Monday to move on to the next round of the MHSAA state basketball tournament.
The L'Anse Creuse North boys basketball team topped county rival Chippewa Valley High School 43-41 Monday in the MHSAA boys basketball tournament.
The victory for L'Anse Creuse North (20-3) gives the team a shot for the regional championship at 6 p.m. Wednesday against Detroit Southeastern (17-5). The championship game will be played at Grosse Pointe North, according to MHSAA.com.
Chippewa Valley finishes the season as district champions with a 13-10 record.
