Clinton Township Man Injured by Firework Dies
The 35-year-old man suffered head trauma during the Fourth of July incident, The Macomb Daily reports.
A 35-year-old Clinton Township man, who was severely injured by an illegal firework on the Fourth of July, died Tuesday at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, The Macomb Daily reports.
Nicholas Burchett had bent over to light the firework when it exploded in his face during a holiday party at his home on Quinn Road. He suffered head trauma and was later placed on life support. Federal and local authorities were investigating the sale of the illegal firework, according to the newspaper.
