McDonald’s, Moran Chevrolet, Land ‘N’ Sea Plan Additions in Clinton Twp.

A fast-food franchise, car dealership and marine parts supplier will soon be expanding in Clinton Township by building additions to their current locations.

The township board of trustees approved site development and special land use for Moran Chevrolet, Land ‘N’ Sea and the Garfield McDonald’s Monday, based on recommendations from the township’s planning commission.

McDonald’s restaurant, located at 41500 Garfield Rd., was approved to add a second drive-thru lane, while Land ‘N’ Sea, a wholesale distributor of marine parts and accessories, was approved to expand the building it currently occupies at 24600 Maplehurst.

Land ‘N’ Sea plans to build this addition on the vacant property located next to its current address on Maplehurst, east of Gratiot.

Not too far down the street, Moran Chevrolet, which has made several improvements to its property in recent years, will also be building an addition. The dealership, located at 35500 Gratiot, east of 15 Mile Road, was approved for an addition on its approximately 15 acres of land.
