Metro Parkway Project Complete
Heavily traveled roadway project complete as Metro Parkeay goes from four to six lanes between Groesbeck and Gratiot

After months of lane changes, re-routes and aggravation for motorists, the Macomb County Department of Roads is set to reopen a one-mile stretch of Metro Parkway in Clinton Township Wednesday, Nov. 11.
According to a report in the Macomb Daily, the roadway was scheduled to open to traffic Tuesday, but rain prevented crews from painting new lane lines.
The project, which widens the stretch of road between Groesbeck and Gratiot from four lane to six, came with a price tag of $8.5 million.
