Michigan Color Guard and Drumline Competition Rolls into Clinton Township

A major fund-raiser for the Chippewa Valley band, color guard and winterline programs, admission to the competition is $7 per person, although children 5 and under are free.

Local guard and percussion units, such as Chippewa Valley, Dakota, Fraser and L'Anse Creuse, will test their skill against some of the leading color guard and drumline teams in Michigan.

The competition kicks off at 1 p.m. Saturday in the main gym at Chippewa Valley High School, 18300 19 Mile Rd. The event is expected to wrap up by 10 p.m.
