Popular Liquor and Deli Store Robbed

Macomb County Sheriff Deputies are on the search for a gunman who robbed a popular convenience store Sunday night.

South Valley Liquor and Deli, located on Southbound Gratiot, south of Harrington in Mount Clemens, was robbed by a black male with an “alleged handgun,” according to a report in the Macomb Daily.

A store worker called 9-1-1 just after 9.p.m. moments after the incident, to report the crime.

According to the report, the gunman fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Canine officers were brought in and searched the surrounding alleyways and neighborhood, but the suspect remains at large.
