1 Person Killed, 3 Others Critically Injured in Accident on Michigan Avenue
Dearborn police are investigating the three-vehicle accident.
One person died and three others were critically injured in a three-vehicle accident on Michigan Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Monday.
Dearborn Fire Chief Joseph Murray said a SMART bus, Ford Escort and Chevrolet Silverado truck were involved in the accident on eastbound Michigan Avenue near the Southfield Freeway.

One female in the Ford Escort was killed, and three other women in the car were taken to Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Murray said.
The driver of the Silverado also was taken to the hospital. The driver of the SMART bus refused treatment on the scene.
