5K Run Planned For Dearborn Homecoming
Runners registering by April 30 can take advantage of a discount on fees.

From The City of Dearborn: Racers who plan to participate in the Second Annual Dearborn Homecoming 5K and Fun Run on Sunday, August 6 are encouraged to register by April 30 in order to take advantage of a discount.
Runners who sign up before 11:59 p.m. on April 30 will only pay $22 for the 5k fun run. Rates will then rise to $32 until June 30, and late registration after June 30 will be $35 through race day.
The 5-kilometer race will kick off at 8 a.m. from Ford Field Park and loop along the Rouge River Gateway trail near the University of Michigan-Dearborn before returning to the park. Prizes will be awarded to the top overall male and female finishers and by gender in 12 age groups.

The one-mile Family Fun Run is a chance for racers of all ages and abilities to participate in the event. The Fun Run registration rate is $15. It starts at 7:45 a.m.

Registration includes a custom Second Annual Dearborn Homecoming 5K T-shirt (must register by July 28 to be guaranteed a shirt), a custom Dearborn Homecoming bib number, live results, and post-race food and drinks.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the nonprofit Dearborn Community Fund. Homecoming runs from Aug 4 to 7 at Ford Field Park on Monroe Street north of Michigan Avenue.
