Antique Appraisal Clinic Offered Oct. 5 at Dearborn Historical Museum

Dumouchelle Auction House representatives will be available beginning at 10 a.m. as a fundraiser for the museum.

An antique appraisal clinic will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 5, at the Dearborn Historical Museum’s McFadden-Ross House, 915 Brady St.

The antique appraisal clinic is sponsored by the Museum Guild of Dearborn. All proceeds will be used to support the museum.

The clinic will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons must register at the event in order to participate, and must register by 3:30 p.m.

Expert appraisers from Dumouchelle Auction House in Detroit will evaluate antiques and collectibles. The cost for appraisal is $10 per item and there is a limit of five hand-carried items per person.

Musical instruments, furniture or weapons are not allowed at the event.
